“Little Yusuf’s Fight for a New Beginning”

Five-month-old Yusuf Margoob Shaikh is bravely fighting Osteopetrosis, a rare and serious medical condition that requires urgent treatment. Doctors at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel, Mumbai – Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, have advised a Stem Cell Transplant as a curative treatment for little Yusuf.

Due to this serious illness, Yusuf’s eyesight has been severely affected, and according to his mother, his vision has almost been lost. At just 5 months old, this little child is fighting a very difficult battle.
The estimated cost of Yusuf’s complete treatment is ₹25,00,000 (Twenty-Five Lakh Rupees). This includes transplant-related treatment, chemotherapy, stem cell collection, investigations, medicines, blood products and other necessary medical care. His family is unable to bear this huge financial burden alone and urgently needs support for his treatment.
